Sired by Byalee Briar out of Byalee Maeve. Our coloured foal for 2017. The meaning of Bijou is "small but elegant". Expected to mature 15-16hh. This filly will have massive potential for FEI dressage in a smaller package. Older half brother with similar bloodlines Byalee Breathless (Byalee Briar x Medallion x Salute) sold for a massive $72 000 at Auction of the stars Dec 2015

BYALEE BRIAR (IMP) Swedish warmblood, won a bronze medal from Dressage NSW for his achievements at medium level in 2013/2014 and qualified for the National Dressage Championships at advanced level with an average of 65%. He is now schooling in piaffe and passage and tempi changes. So quiet he can be campaigned by a teenage pony clubber, and his babies are friendly with great conformation and amazing movement. He jumps, practises polocrosse, and rides out like a gelding babysitting the young horses.

BJORSELLS BRIAR 899 was for 7 years a legend, the world’s number one dressage breeding stallion!

  • Participated in three Olympic Games

  • National championships in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005. He holds the record for most won national championships in dressage, a total of 7 gold.

  • European Championship individual silver 2003 European Championship bronze in both individual and team in 2005.

  • The winner in the unofficial World Cup Dressage Championships in Aachen in 2005.

  • World Cup winner in the Globe in 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006 and in Neumunster in 2006 and the Scandinavium in 2007.

  • First in the FEI world ranking, ten consecutive months (2007).

  • 1 on the FEI rankings for dressage stallions for 10 consecutive years.

  • Named Horse of the Year at the Equestrian Gala 2006

  • Qualified for and made eight World Cup finals

BERNSTEIN 761 won his Stallion Performance Test in Sweden, receiving 9s for his trot and canter. He was stallion of the year in Sweden and sire of many approved stallions, with offspring competing in Grand Prix in Europe and the United States. Bernstein 761, along with his sons, Bayron, Bolero, and Ravel, as well as Bernstein's great-grandsire, Chagall 455, are all found in the top 11 of the BLUP index.

Bernstein's mother, BRISTOL CREAM, was awarded a Premium A title at her mare performance test, but because of the spectacular quality of her offspring both in studbook performance tests and in sport, she was later awarded a more rare and distinct honour of Elite Mare. FIVE of her sons were approved stallions, a feat that is nearly unheard of for any mare, let alone in Sweden who does not readily approve stallion candidates.  Four of her daughters were approved for breeding. Many of Bristol Cream's foals were successful to elite levels of competition in both dressage and show jumping.

RICHMEED MEDALLION (IMP) was a very impressive Grand Prix stallion with tremendous floating paces and an outstanding temperament. His wonderful temperament and trainability have been confirmed by the fact that even though Medallion lost his left eye he continued to train on and compete in unfamiliar places and 'high pressure' situations. Not too many horses would pass this test of obedience. Medallion is himself is the sire of hundreds of Olympic discipline competition horses. It is not unusual to see him represented at State and National Dressage Competitions by up to ten offspring. His progeny include  Byalee Magic (Grand Prix Dressage, also a medallion-salute cross) and Mystery Whisper (4* eventer). Medallion is also well represented in show jumping and eventing, which is to be expected considering his pedigree.

SALUTE (IMP)  is probably the most influential performance bloodline in Australia. Salute sired:

  • Victory Salute, Australian grand prix champion & 9th at the WEG in 2010

  • Stirling stilton, who represented Australia at the WEG in 2002

  • Stirling Sprite, an advanced eventer and world cup showjumper

  • Snowshoes, world cup showjumper

  • Staccato, who was previously ranked number one eventing stallion in the world

  • Stirling Soux - four star eventer

  • F1 Pharenelli - four star eventer

  • The dam of Mystery Whisper, who competed in eventing at the 2012 Olympics
