Quality performance bred warmbloods with proven pedigrees for sale. Each year we plan to breed a small number of quality warmblood foals from talented sires as well as one coloured foal, without compromising on quality. Temperament, conformation, movement and trainability are key attributes to the Kadon Park breeding program.
Kadon Park Performance Horses
Occasionally I am able to offer some very special ridden horses for sale. I aim to get them well exposed to trail riding, off site lessons and at least one competition. I aim to have them schooling nicely for the AOR market, with a good understanding of lateral movements. They will also have nice manners and a pleasure to take out!

GL Sophisticated Design. "Randall"
16.2hh buckskin warmblood gelding, Born Dec 2020
Sire: Stedinger X Capone, out of a competitive Daiquiri mare
Price range $25 000
Honestly, your new best friend. Randall has never bucked, reared, bolted or shied under saddle. He has a lovely, pleasing, soft temperament with a can-do attitude. The true "more whoa than go", however I do not ride him with whips or spurs. He has a really lovely understanding of seat and leg aids. Comfortable with trot shoulder-in and leg yield, starting travers at trot. Nice upward transitions to trot, can do walk to canter. Canter has a nice bounce. Lengthened stride needs more work.
Randall is no problem to bring back into work and does not require lunging prior to work. He is OK to leave for days/weeks in between rides.
Randall enjoys trail riding and is not reactive to noise. No problem with wildlife or water. He likes to lead on a trail ride but will also travel at the back.
Has been to lessons off property and pole clinics.
Excellent to tie, rug, saddle, wash, float, mount. No separation anxiety
Currently barefoot, footsore on one occasion when I trimmed him too short.
XRAYED may 2025 - stifles and hocks xrayed prior to bringing into work and clean. available on request
FREE OF ECVM
He has had two competitive outings:
- Dec 2025 ANWEL working equitation. First outing at intro level (walk-trot only). He was calm, bold, but a little distracted by the wind, rain and other horses. He won the dressage, second place in the first obstacle round and first in the second obstacle round, for overall Intro champion. Video footage supplied below
- April 2026 HRCAV Ruffy dressage. His first really busy outing with tents, loose horses, dogs, flapping bunting and a busy warmup. Again, i just wanted him to have a lovely outing for exposure. An honest level 3 (prelim) test for 66.34%, which would have been a bit higher except for a blah canter transition.
I doubt he will make a jumper or eventer, but will thrive in a home that enjoys trail riding, dressage, trot poles/gridwork and working equitation. He is athletic, but great rideability and really wants to please. Suited to a mature AOR looking for best friend and long-term riding companion. I have no doubt that with regular guidance from an instructor to develop his full potential he will go to advanced or even FEI

Four Oaks Farm Archibald Prize. "Louie"
16hh black Freisian x Percheron gelding, Born Dec 2016
AVAILBLE JULY 2026
Price range $15 000
Louie has a beautiful nature and makes me laugh daily. He is in your pocket, will follow you everywhere. He is a genuine lover! He was professionally started under saddle as a 7 year old and ridden sporadically. I purchased him Dec 2025 and started his education all over again. He had no muscle tone or fitness, and a bit light in condition, so we started daily walking in hand. This progressed to light riding. I am blown away by his intelligence and willingness to please. He is now getting regular riding and capable of trot leg yield, trot travers and developing enough suppleness for trot shoulder in.
Having never cantered under saddle with the previous owner, he is now learning correct canter leads and learning to stay balanced in canter and not get faster.
He is enjoying trot pole grids (staying calm and balanced, even with raised poles) and small cross rails.
Louie has never bucked or reared, or bolted under saddle and never spooked. I have never felt unsafe or uneasy on him. He is bold in the bush and we regularly ride out on solo trail rides. He has been through water and river crossings. He is comfortable barefoot and wears scoot boots in rocky terrain.
Louie has had one competitive outing:
- April 2026 ANWEL working equitation. First outing at intro level (walk-trot only). He was calm and bold, despite the campers, children, other horses, marquees.... he felt like he had done it 100 times before! He won all three phases for overall Intro champion.
Louie has improved so much in such a short time, however we are still working on suppleness and fitness. Louie is a roarer, it does not affect him at his current level of training however he will not make an eventer or hunter. He is a confidence building horse, but will need a calm and balanced rider that is happy to do lower level dressage, poles and small jumps, working equitation/3PE and trail riding.
